WYN Polymers Brings New Reactor Online

WYN Polymers (San Antonio, Texas) has commissioned a new reactor for water-based polymer production, adding roughly 30% more manufacturing capacity to better serve its customer base throughout North America.

According to the company, the reactor incorporates sophisticated process controls and operational flexibility, enabling greater consistency and faster response times in the manufacture of polymer emulsions.

The capacity addition comes on the heels of the company's recently opened Center of Technology and is meant to bolster its strengths in areas including logistics, technical support, product development and inventory management.

"The startup of this new reactor is a key step forward in our growth strategy," said Jorge Saldana, global sales director and strategic planning manager. "It not only expands our capacity, but also enhances our ability to respond quickly and effectively to our customers' needs."
