Global Finishing Solutions Appoints New President

Global Finishing Solutions (GFS, Osseo, Wisconsin) has appointed Shishir Tiwari as president. The company manufactures paint booths and finishing environments for a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive refinish and industrial businesses.

Prior to joining GFS, Tiwari served as divisional VP at Ametek Inc., where he led the company’s global instrumentation, controls and vision systems business, overseeing teams and operations across North America, Europe and Asia. He also held executive-level roles at Wabtec, IDEX Corp., GE Transportation and TVS Motor Co.

Tiwari will focus on building upon GFS’ strong foundation and positioning the company for continued growth and long-term success including strengthening core operations, expanding market share, growing service and aftermarket revenue, developing a high-performing organization and advancing strategic initiatives that support long-term growth.

Tiwari holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and engineering degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur.
