The ChemQuest Group is marking its 50th anniversary in 2026. Founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1976 as a market research firm serving the specialty chemicals industry, ChemQuest has expanded over five decades into a global consultancy with more than 130 professionals across nine countries. The firm's work spans business strategy and transformation, technology development, operational excellence and mergers and acquisitions advisory.

"This year marks a remarkable milestone for ChemQuest—our 50th anniversary," said Daniel Murad, owner and CEO, who is also entering his 30th year with the company. "Looking back today, I am filled with gratitude and pride in our history of growth and success." Murad said the anniversary is as much about the relationships and shared purpose built over five decades as it is about longevity.

The firm has expanded its technical capabilities significantly in recent years. In 2016, ChemQuest established the ChemQuest Technology Institute; in 2021, it acquired the Powder Coating Research Group, now operating as ChemQuest Powder Coating Research. The company is now consolidating both laboratory operations at an expanded facility in South Boston, Virginia, bringing its full range of contract research and development resources under one roof.

"As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, I am confident that the same passion and principles that guided ChemQuest in the beginning will continue to lead us toward an even stronger future," Murad said. The team's 50 Ph.D. scientists represent a significant share of the firm's technical staff and reflect ChemQuest's continued emphasis on deep domain expertise.
